It is a beautifully designed image, depicting Christ the Life-giver blessing with his right hand and holding the Gospel with his left. On the open page of the Gospel we read the verse from the Book of  Saint John: "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me, even if he dies, lives and lives and believes in me and does not die forever" which comes from the miracle of the resurrection of Lazarus. With this miracle, Jesus Christ revealed that he is the one who gives life with his word.
Christ is beautifully depicted in this image, the details in his face and hands, as well as the folds in his robe. The technique of this particular picture is really excellent.
The image has right angles and the back of the image is brown, the color of wood.
